[BCMA] Old Typewriter

Hello all,

I can’t remember if I saw this item on this listserv or a different group who was downsizing their collection of old typewritiers.

We were in the middle of finalizing our summer exhibit and not yet complete with our research when I saw that list come through.  Mind you, this could have been months ago.

However, I thought I woiuld put it out there to see if anyone has one of this particular typewriter used during WWII which they wouldn’t mind giving up and transferring to the HMCS ALBERNI Museum and Memorial (HAMM) in Courtenay.

We are interessted in an Imperial War Finish typewriter, manufactured sometime between 1937 and 1946.  Photo attached.
