[BCMA] Community groups using museum

Hello Rika,

The Pemberton Museum provides space to our community by donation (fundraisers or not-for-profit organizations) or for an accessible hourly rate. Depending on the space requested and the number of people, our hourly rate goes from $25/hour to $150/hour. We don't have a policy for rentals, but we do use a comprehensive Rental Agreement and require a Certificate of Insurance that covers the guest, their guests and the museum. We recommend Duuo, via our insurance provider the Co-operators. (http://www.duuo.ca<http://www.duuo.ca/>).

I've attached a blank Rental Agreement and info about Event Insurance.  Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. We love host outside events.

Greetings!
I am writing on behalf of the Princeton Museum. We are increasingly being asked by community groups for use of our museum for their events. So far we have been "winging it," but we have reached a point where we want to articulate a policy for the use of our museum. Rather than reinventing the wheel I was wondering if any of you museums have copies of community use policies  that I could refer to when formulating our own policy. If you could send me some current policies I would be most grateful.
