The City of Delta is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Education Assistant to help bring exhibitions and educational programs to life through research, lesson planning, hands-on program delivery, and evaluation. This role includes working directly with the public, supporting community events, and helping create engaging learning experiences for visitors of all ages. Working in collaboration with the Education Coordinator, they are expected to exercise some independence of judgement and action within the limits of established policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a career in Museums or Heritage.

This auxiliary position provides a competitive salary of $30.41 - $35.72 (2024 Rates) per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays, and benefits.
