[BCMA] Kelowna Museums Job Postings: Conservation Intern and Programming Intern

Kelowna Museums Society is currently hiring for two YCW-BCH funded intern positions.

Conservation Intern

The Conservation Intern supports the museum in maintaining professional standards for the preservation and conservation of its artefact collections. Based in the Ursula Surtees Regional Conservation Laboratory at the Okanagan Heritage Museum, the intern’s primary responsibilities include implementing preventative conservation measures and performing conservation treatments. The internship offers hands-on opportunities to develop and refine conservation skills and techniques.

Programming Intern

The Programming Intern is a bridge between our English-language resources and the Okanagan's Francophone and French Immersion school communities. The primary task of this role is to audit and transcreate existing English-language school programs into French, ensuring alignment with the BC Ministry of Education's Building Student Success curriculum. The internship offers additional opportunities to work with the Education and Programming team to deliver school and public programs.

4 May 2026 to 31 March 2027
$23.09 plus 17% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay
35hrs per week
