The Care of Objects Course taught by the
<https://www.canada.ca/en/conservation-institute.html> Canadian Conservation
Institute (CCI) and hosted at the qathet Museum & Archives in Powell River,
British Columbia. 

 

The workshop will be held in person at the qathet Museum & Archives’
Centennial Building at 4790 Marine Avenue. The workshop will be held on
November 26th and 27th from 8:30am – 4:00pm.

Please note, space is limited. 

 

The fee is $100.00 for both days and includes 2 catered coffee breaks and
snacks each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Please reach
out to us if you have dietary restrictions. Lunch will not be provided.

An hour has been designated for lunch. We recommend either packing a lunch

Payment Options

e-transfer is preferred, but can also be made by cheque or over the phone.
Payment must be made upon booking in order to secure a spot. Please let us
know if your plans change as this course is in high demand. 

 

Cancellations 

Bookings cancelled more than two weeks in advance of the course are subject
to a full refund. Cancellations with two weeks of the course can expect a
50% refund unless someone can be found to fill the spot. Cancellations made
within 48hrs of the course will not be refunded unless someone can be found
to fill the spot. 

 

Getting to Powell River

Powell River is accessible by ferry only, either from Vancouver or Vancouver
