[BCMA] sharing volunteer opportunities

Hey all!
Just wanted to put out there that we at the MOV have gotten many volunteer applications despite not actually having many volunteer roles. Many of the people who approach us are interested in working in museums, archives and similar organizations and are often skilled and educated.

As such, we've started a periodic newsletter where we share volunteer call outs for other orgs. This newsletter will not have a regular schedule, but whenever we need to put a call out for volunteers or when I receive a request to share a volunteer call out, I will put together an email to this group (as well as my own capacity permitting).

If you are looking for volunteers, feel free to reach out with a photo, short (paragraph) description of what you're looking for, a link to your org and a link to a volunteer application or page where volunteers can find more info. I will share them as I'm able! Keep in mind that we're in Vancouver, so may be best suited to organizations in and around the city.
