Join us for a day dedicated to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and
innovation in the field of museum education! Whether you are a seasoned
professional or someone passionate about the museum education sector, this
conference offers a rich platform for sharing insights, exploring new
ideas, and connecting with peers.

*NEW! Keynote Presentation - **Moving Forward, Together: Building Community
by Dr Lisa M*
*cIntosh *How can connecting with and building community support your
growth as a museum educator, enhance your professional development, and
influence the future of our field? Reflecting on my own journey, I’ll share
how fostering connections, exploring new ideas, and stepping beyond
disciplinary boundaries have enriched my practice—offering insights into
how we can collectively guide the future of museum education.

*Biography: *Dr. Lisa McIntosh has been a museum educator for over 30
years, working with various local informal learning organizations. She has
extensive experience in professional development for museum educators,
including doctoral research on their role as "teacher educators" and
leadership positions in local and national professional organizations. She
was involved in the development of the University of British Columbia’s
Master of Museum Education (MMED) program, a unique graduate degree focused
on teaching and learning in museums and other informal learning settings.
Currently, she is a lecturer in the MMED program, supporting the next
generation of museum education leaders.
