Collaborative relationship (particularly with Friends of the museum and friends of the library) in Quesnel. Both friends groups host a fund raising used book sale. Museum schedules is May and the library in the fall. We direct book donation to each other.
Both institutions host occasional speakers programs and check scheduling to avoid overlapping programming, and help promote (posters in library news release emailed to each others members list.
We hosted the livingangsges exhibit just before Covid in the winter when the museum has limited hours. The library agreed to host 1 large element ( the craddleboard listening pod to provide greater access and help promote the exhibit.
In terms of youth mentoring I have often hired summer students who started working for the library's summer reading program as high school students. We employ them for a year or to as a curatorial or archives assistant and then provide references to help get them into graduate school and careers in libraries or arch

Hi All,
Looking for examples of collaborative relationships between museums and libraries - specially youth programming but open to any examples.
Thanks so much!
