Hello Museum BC community,

Nominations are now open for BC Achievement’s 2026 award programs<https://bcachievement.com/nominate-now/>, closing February 15, 2026. The award programs amplify inspiring stories, build community pride, and shine a light on those driving positive change across the province.

Your nomination helps ensure remarkable community leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs receive the recognition they deserve while inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.

AWARD PROGRAMS


  *
Community Award - Honours individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication to community service, volunteerism, leadership and local impact (20 recipients selected by an independent jury).


  *
BC Reconciliation Award - Recognizes efforts to address the historical and ongoing impacts of colonization while honouring those implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action (6-9 recipients selected by an independent jury).


  *
Indigenous Business Award - Celebrates Indigenous-owned businesses driving innovation, cultural strength, economic development and community empowerment (8 entrepreneurs/businesses selected by an independent jury).


  *
First Nations Art Award - Honours excellence in traditional or contemporary First Nations visual arts, across diverse forms and practices (4 artists selected by an independent jury).


  *
Applied Art + Design Award - Showcases artists, designers and makers whose applied art and design enrich everyday life through creativity, functionality and craft (4 artists selected by an independent jury).

BC Achievement is an independent foundation dedicated to celebrating excellence across British Columbia by recognizing individuals, artists, organizations and entrepreneurs who contribute to stronger, more connected communities. Through five annual award programs, we tell the stories of those whose leadership, creativity and vision create lasting impact.
