*Looking for summer work? The Caetani Centre has two Canada Summer Jobs
positions for Museum Interpreter and Event Assistant.*
Please read the full job descriptions before applying. You must be between
the ages of 15-30 at the start of employment in order to apply.
Museum InterpreterStart date: May 5 - June 27, 2025
Salary: $18/hr
The Caetani Cultural Centre, in Vernon, BC, seeks a Museum Interpreter for
the Spring/Summer 2025 season. The Museum Interpreter will help to guide
tours of the Caetani Centre, which includes a historic home, heritage
museum, and an art gallery.
The Interpreter will welcome school groups, local visitors as well as
tourists from across the country and around the world and tell them the
fascinating story of the Caetani family history, as well as that of the
renowned artist, Sveva Caetani, and her legacy to arts and culture in
Canada. The Museum Interpreter will also assist other staff in organizing
and hosting summer programs and special events, such as youth arts
programming, a music festival, artist open studio visits, and other arts
and cultural events.
The Museum Interpreter will be an integral part of the summer life of a
vibrant arts, culture and heritage site in the North Okanagan.
To be eligible to apply for this job, you must be aged between 15 and 30
years old on the start date of the job; have a valid Social Insurance
Number (SIN); and be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or
a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.

Event Coordinator
Start date: July 2 - August 22, 2025
Salary: $18/hr
The Caetani Cultural Centre, in Vernon, BC, seeks an Event Coordinator for
the Spring/Summer 2025 season. The Event Coordinator will be an essential
member of the Caetani team that plans, organizes, coordinates and hosts
special events at the Caetani Cultural Centre. These events include an
annual art auction and dinner, a one-day music festival, local and visiting
artists; exhibitions and open studio tours, literary readings, and private
events and gatherings that take place on the Caetani grounds and in the
courtyard.
The Event Coordinator will be part of a team of staff and volunteers who
create a welcoming and inclusive environment for diverse arts and cultural
events, as well as private events, on the Caetani Centre grounds. They will
be an integral part of a lively and vibrant arts and cultural community in
