The BC Aviation Musuem has been working on setting up online ticket sales, and we are interested in learning how other museums have set up their online ticket purchasing.
If anyone has any advice or are willing to share how you have achieved this, especially if you use Shopify, we would greatly appreciate it.

Over 10 weeks students will learn about the history of photography and different technical processes and how to appraise, accession, describe and preserve this popular format that is found in every archive, library, and museum collection. Students will also look at the specific guidelines when it comes to reference, copyright, public outreach, and the best practices for digitization.

Course fee: AABC members: $350.00 (CAD); non-members $500.00 (CAD) plus the cost of the course textbook (available as an electronic version from the SAA).

The Government of BC has opened an engagement opportunity on Institutional, Commercial, Industrial (ICI) recycling in BC. In essence, the government is looking for input into if a system like RecycleBC (which manages residential packaging recycling) should be extended to the ICI sector.


There are some significant benefits for museums, particularly those in smaller communities, which would have access to a more comprehensive plastic and other packaging recycling.


Interested organizations and individuals should complete the individual questionnaire (about 5 minutes), and for those with the capacity to write a letter in response, asking for better access to affordable and comprehensive recycling options and encouraging reuse.
