The O'Keefe Ranch located just outside of Vernon, BC has 84 firearms
available for museum transfer. Among them are excellent examples of
firearms made for the allies at the start of the First World War. Firearms
early policemen favoured. We have firearms that demonstrate new innovations
in technology, and even a firearm favoured by cyclists in Europe. We have a
few of the iconic Winchester 1894s available. Many came to us from other
collections and none of them have any documented history. Most date to the
1880-1950 period.

The list includes prohibited and restricted firearms. As such, if you are
interested in any of the firearms please make sure your organization has a
license to hold such firearms and review the rules for transfers (
https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/firearms/buying-and-selling-transferring-firearms
).

The Ranch will ensure that paperwork is in order on our end, but arranging
transportation and any associated costs will rest with your institution.

If you are legally able to accept any of these firearms and have any
questions or would like some pictures please contact me at
curator at okeeferanch.ca.
