Hi Paul,

We also receive an operating grant from our municipality and we are leasing
their building/property, so not a perfect example, but we make sure
everyone that contributes in some way to the season is mentioned in our
annual report document at year-end/AGM time (just as sponsors would be
too). There's just a section that says something like "Thank you to all of
our wonderful contributors: ......" and we list them all.

Do you have a spot on your website where you (could) say "We are supported
in part by..." and list all core funders/contributors? I'd include tax
exemption as a core contribution as the expense would be a core expense if
you had to pay it. Maybe in an about us or facility information section?
We haven't done this yet, but were considering just a social media post
that thanks our municipality for approving the exemption too.
