Good morning,

The Tumbler Ridge Museum has attached for immediate release, details regarding newly published research on the ancient crocodiles of Tumbler Ridge - larger than any previously recorded.

While the Tumbler Ridge area has become well known for its dinosaurs, there is something special about crocodiles. They did not become extinct at the end of the Cretaceous, but have 'survivor status', and are still with us today with a recognizably similar body plan.

Please direct inquiries to Tumbler Ridge Museum research associate, Charles Helm helm.c.w at gmail.com<mailto:helm.c.w at gmail.com>.

Thank you,

Zena Conlin
Executive Director

The Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation recognizes and thanks the stewards and knowledge keepers of these lands who have been here long before the existence of Tumbler Ridge; the Dunne-Za, Tse'Khene, Saulteau, Cree, and Metis Peoples. We express our gratitude at the privilege of living and working here. The TRMF has benefited greatly from this land and as such we reflect on our presence and practices, and hold space for better a future.
