AMA Conference 2022 Registration Now Open!
The Alberta Museums Association (AMA) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2022 Conference, Inside Out: Reconsidering Museum Culture!

Join us at the Feigel Conference Centre in-person, in Edmonton on September 17, 2022, and online on September 23, 2022, as we explore how the sector is reconsidering the nature of museum work. The curated program will examine issues around trust and authority, activism, and social responsibility to create a framework in which museums can see themselves as leaders and advocates for social change.

This year's in-person Conference events feature:

  *   A pre-conference Evening Networking Event at the Alberta Aviation Museum on Friday, September 16;
  *   A keynote presentation by Armando Perla, Chief Curator, Toronto History Museums, City of Toronto;
  *   Annual General Meeting of the AMA;
  * Afternoon Learning Labs hosted in-person at local Edmonton museums; and
  * A special closing presentation by Senator Patricia Bovey.

This year's virtual Conference event features:

  * A virtual plenary presentation by Janeen Bryant, Principal and Founder, Facilitate Movement; and
  * 15-minute lightning sessions by local, national, and international presenters.
