My name is Kendra Kurisu and I am a Program Coordinator with Metis Nations BC's Ministry of Women and Gender Equity. We are currently working on a project that is a commemorative blanket for missing and murdered Metis relatives. I was directed to the "list
serve" by a few of your colleagues in hopes that we might find some assistance. </div>

The project entails community members creating quilt squares using either beadwork, fabric paint or fabric markers. These squares will then be stitched into a quilt, which will be unveiled as part of our memorial project. </div>
