As it has no local relevance to the Saanich Peninsula, it was never accessioned. </div><div><br></div><div>The lid of the case no longer fits the body and has "RKB PCMR Grand Forks B.C. 1940-1945" written in black marker on the top. Inside are badges related to the Pacific Coast Militia Rangers (PCMR). Please see the attached images.</div><div><br></div><div>At the time the museum had a volunteer who "specializes in genealogical puzzles" look into it. They found that while there are no longer any lists of members for the PCMRs, a man named Richard Kenneth Bradley (1905-2012) lived in Grand Forts during the first half of the 1940s and died in Victoria.
