He was an assistant designer.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">He was later hired by Dr, Micheal Ames, Director of the Museum of Anthropology @ UBC as an Exhibit Designer in the mid 70’s</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Through his exceptional work at MOA Bill became a curator and was later invited to become a guest curator at MOV</div><div class="">He was asked to create an exhibit. based on the Vancouver’s extensive artifact collections.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Bill selected 12 people he knew for their cultural knowledge & wisdom and asked them, to review the MOV collections, and select one object that</div><div class="">they saw as relevant and asked them to write a few words about why this object was exceptional, in their eyes.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The exhibit was a great success and provided rare insights into this museums collections, rarely experienced or appreciated by the general public</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Bill died last year, but his memory and his significant contributions to the Canadian Museum Community are still fresh in the minds of his many friends. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Tammy, I wish you the best in “Borrowing” his idea.
