<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif; color:#333333">MONOVA: Museum and Archives of North Vancouver is expanding its program offerings as it opens its new Museum in 2021. The Science and Innovations Program Intern will review, adapt, and deliver the
Eureka Effects Science programs for covid-safe on-site and virtual delivery for children and families and will research and develop programming around climate change with our Archives, Indigenous Cultural Programmers, and other programs staff. The Eureka Effects
program consists of four interactive, interpretive shows that explore the landscape and environment of the North Shore through fun science. They are filled with eye-catching experiments, are participatory for families and general visitors, and highlight the
wonder of the natural world while encouraging empathy and communal responsibility. The MONOVA Archives also contain evidence from BC mountaineers that, when compared to current data, demonstrate some of the impact of climate change on the North Shore mountains,
making it an excellent resource for future programs. The successful applicant will gain experience in education program and event development and delivery in a museum environment. They will be supervised and mentored by MONOVA Programs staff.</span></p>
