<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Museum Offering Exhibit & Activities for One Hundred X One Hundred<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Oliver, BC – This August, the Oliver & District Museum is offering a week-long series of activities and the opening of a new exhibit for the One Hundred X One Hundred commemoration marking 100 years of the Oliver community and 10,000 years
of the syilx Okanagan Nation.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The activities begin Saturday, Aug. 14<sup>th</sup>, when the Museum will offer gold-panning, crafts for all ages, a scavenger hunt around the buildings, an nsyilxcən word-matching activity, a Guess That Artifact prize draw, heritage kits
to take home, and extra runs of its popular Downtown Heritage Walking Tour and Heritage Garden plant tour. There will also be a special outdoor photo backdrop for visitor photo shoots and the opening of the new One Hundred X One Hundred exhibit showcasing
artifacts and documents from the past hundred years.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Tuesday, Aug. 17<sup>th</sup> to Saturday, Aug. 21<sup>st</sup>, the Museum will offer exhibit viewing and activities on a drop-in basis, with extra Downtown Heritage Walking Tours Saturday, Aug. 14th and Wednesday, Aug. 18th at 10:00 am,
and Heritage Garden tours on Tuesday, Aug. 17<sup>th</sup> and Thursday, Aug. 19<sup>th</sup> at 1:00 pm. Gold-panning for the young and young at heart will run Wednesday, Aug. 18<sup>th</sup> and Friday, Aug. 20<sup>th</sup> all day. A full schedule is available
