A reminder that the RSVP deadline is May 5 @5:00pm for the upcoming AABC
Roundtea “Hoping for the Best but Planning for the Worst: Navigating Fire
Season".
The winding days of winter are often welcomed, but for some heritage
organizations, the changing weather means the onset of fire season in BC.
In this Roundtea we will hear from Barkerville Historic Town & Park and
Fort Nelson Historical Society and the challenges and responses that
staff faced
during regional fire events that impacted their organizations and
threatened collection materials. This Roundtea will also include time for
Q&A with our presenters.
Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Time: 9:30-10:30am PST
Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free
