[BCMA] Kamloops Art Gallery Summer Position: COLLECTIONS TECHNICIAN - Deadline May 4

Hello,

Work with the Gallery this summer! The Kamloops Art Gallery is seeking an enthusiastic young person to join our team as a Collections Technician from May 11 to August 28, 2026.

The Collections Technician will help organize, document, and care for the Gallery’s collection of more than 3,200 works of art. Reporting to the Head of Collections and Registrar Head of Collections and Registrar, the Collections Technician will work directly with the Gallery’s extensive art collection. The Collections Technician will focus on completing object condition reports, collection inventories, updating catalogue records, and collection care.

This would be an interesting job for someone who enjoys the arts, museums, or library studies, loves to be organized, and thrives on working both with their hands and on computers. If you are detailed oriented, have great time management and self-organization skills, and are a good communicator, please apply.
