Subject: [BCMA] BCMA AGM - Bread and Butter Motions!

Good morning!

As the BCMA prepares for its Annual General Meeting, we are interested in collecting the Bread and Butter Motions!

Bread and Butter Motions at the AGM are designed to acknowledge all of the folks working in our sector. In the past, we have noted retirements, promotions, moves to new organizations and the passing of influential people.

If you have a bread and butter motion that took place from October 2024 to September 2025 that you would like to share with us, please submit it to bcma at museum.bc.ca<mailto:bcma at museum.bc.ca> by September 28.

BCMA will be sharing more information about the AGM shortly! Stay Tuned!

The BC Museums Association office is located on the traditional, unceded lands of the Lekwungen<https://vimeo.com/275788251> peoples (Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations). We respect past, present, and future Indigenous stewards and recognize that we are uninvited guests on this territory.

Leia works remotely from Snuneymuxw<https://www.snuneymuxw.ca/> Territory, in what is today commonly called Nanaimo.
