The City of Delta is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Curatorial Assistant to assist with curatorial duties within the Cultural Services division. Supporting the organization and administration of the Collections, they will assist with access and use for exhibitions, research, and programs. The Curatorial Assistant will contribute to artifact evaluation and record-keeping of the museum collection; conduct research on artifact history and provenance as directed; assist with artifact preservation and conservation; and clean exhibition areas in preparation for events and showings. Working in collaboration with the Curator, they are expected to exercise some independence of judgement and action within the limits of established policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices. This is an excellent opportunity those pursuing a career in Museums or Heritage.

This auxiliary position provides a competitive salary of $27.04 - $31.66 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays, and benefits.
