*Cariboo Goldrush Trail – Creating Partnerships in Arts, History & Heritage*

I've been writing songs about Pacific Canadian History for nearly 30 years
now. In that time, I’ve created study guides, performed at hundreds of
schools, dozens upon dozens of festivals. I’ve collected and created a
substantial amount of related media.

I’ve recently compiled that content on a new website:
https://stirringupghosts.ca/

I am now reaching out to BC Museums and Heritage sites whose collections
(whether exhibits or virtual displays) connect with each song and add depth
to each story. A perfect example is the chapter on Robbie McBeath (
https://stirringupghosts.ca/robbie-mcbeath) with content shared by the
Vancouver Police Museum.

“Even as a child, I remember being transported by song. A good song can
paint pictures in our minds, but what’s more, a good song can often connect
us with our own humanity and feelings. I strive to create music that does
that.

I endeavor always to create music which is authentic. Whether I’m singing
Traditional ballads or original Rhythm & Blues, I approach each song with
sincerity. I always seek to acquire a oneness with each tune. To immerse
myself and draw you in with me.”
