We use Neon One at our non-profit for membership management, donations, program registration, volunteer management, newsletter send-outs, event calendar, and a small online store (in person pick up, but could be set up for online downloads for others). It works quite well for our needs and tech support is good. The downside is that it is costly and houses in the US, which means prices are in USD (harder for us to budget), and less than ideal for privacy matters.
I also have experience with Amilia which was best for program registration, memberships and a small store. It was easy and not too expensive (paying only a % of registration fees, not other management/subscription fees) and based in Canada (Montreal) which we liked (and chose specifically when the US brought in the Patriot Act. Customer service was amazing a few years ago, but went down a bit in 2023, still fine but less 'patient'! Their call centre, being in Quebec, also isn't always available when I needed them here in BC (they don't have extended hours to cover our business day out west).
Happy to answer specific questions if you have any!

Hello Scott
I'm very interested in your research / any info you are able to collect.
I'm actually currently looking into this for my employer as well. I just came across Aluvii too!

Seeking Your Insights on Non-Profit CRM/Database Programs!
Hello everyone!
I'm currently diving into research on various Non-Profit CRM/donor/database programs to track everything from membership, grant applicants, conference forms, volunteers, and more. I’d love to hear what tools you are using! Does anyone have experience or recommend Keela, CitySoft, Arreva, Little Green Light, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, Neon One, or any other system?
Your feedback—whether it’s pros, cons, or general recommendations—would be incredibly valuable to me as I explore. Looking forward to hearing about your experiences!
Best,
Scott Swan
