Hello BCMA Colleagues,

As part of Sidney Museum's ongoing collections management work, we have
come across a selection of items that were never formally accessioned into
the Museum's permanent collection. Due to their being found-in-collection
and a lack of provenance information, we are offering them for transfer.
There are also items on the list that have been deaccessioned which we
would like to offer to the museum community first.

Please email *outreach at sidneymuseum.ca <outreach at sidneymuseum.ca>* by *Monday,
March 24th* if you are interested in any of the items. I am happy to
provide more information, photos, and measurements upon request.

Please note that receiving institutions are asked to reimburse Sidney
Museum for packaging and shipping costs.

Thank you

*We respectfully acknowledge the Sidney Museum & Archives has been shaped
by the colonial history of Canada, and is located in Sidney/SETINES on the
territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ People including the **BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin),
SȾÁ,UTW̱ (Tsawout), MÁLEXEŁ (Malahat), W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip) and W̱SÍḴEM
(Tseycum) First Nations.*
*We understand that territory acknowledgment is just one part of
Reconciliation, and the museum continues to work towards other ways that we
can participate in Reconciliation alongside Indigenous communities.*
