Hello Colleagues,

Just a friendly reminder that XUUYA: Raven Brings the Light is coming up soon, and tickets are going fast!

We’d love for you to join us on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6–9 PM at the Bill Reid Gallery for this vibrant one-night fundraising event celebrating Indigenous art, performance, food, and community.

Set across our indoor gallery and outdoor courtyard, the evening features hip-hop, jazz, and traditional Indigenous performances, live artist demonstrations, a curated silent auction, and complimentary tastings of Indigenous wine and craft beer.

All ticket proceeds support our efforts to preserve and share Northwest Coast Indigenous cultural knowledge through exhibitions, programs, and community outreach.

Event Highlights:
• Hip-hop performance by Mandy Nahanee (Lady Sinncere)
• Traditional opening by the Urban Haida dance group
• The Thomson Band (jazz, soul, pop) with Haida Nation members and guest musicians
• Artist demos, silent auction, and Indigenous charcuterie
• One-year BRG membership (valued at $45) included with each ticket
