[BCMA] Stand-alone media player

The Lardeau Valley Museum in the West Kootenays wishes to establish 
several stand-alone video units in our museum galleries. What is our 
best option (keeping in mind high reliability and reasonable cost), and 
where could we source these?  ...Thank you for your recommendations!
