Hi everyone,
The new year is a great time to learn some new skills! I offer practical,
interactive and fun courses in visitor studies for busy museum
professionals. Registration is open for the following courses.
*Foundations of Visitor Studies*
6 hours of content
$150 per person
This practical course is designed for museum professionals who have minimal
or no training in visitor studies. In this course you will learn about the
history, process and purpose of visitor studies before creating your own
visitor study plan. You can take this course because you want to run
your own visitor study or simply because you want to learn more about the
process. By the end of the course you will have created (and maybe even
tested!) your own data collection method and be ready to start collecting
data for a study of your own.

*Analysis and Presenting the Data*
6 hours of content
$150 per person
Recommended prerequisite: Foundations of Visitor Studies or equivalent
This course will guide you through the process of working with data - from
analysis to report writing. It is designed for museum professionals who
know how to start a visitor study but have minimal experience reporting on
study results. In this course you will learn how to do simple analysis data
for interviews, surveys and timing and tracking sheets by working with
sample data provided. We will also cover the basics of data visualization
and reporting. By the end of this course you will be familiar with a range
of data analysis and visualization techniques and be ready to write up your
own visitor study report.
