Hi Kendra,
Two photographers that come to mind are:
Rachel Topham

and Blaine Campbell:

Both are excellent, professional, and deliver great images for use in many outputs.
Wishing you the best on this important project.

Hi Folks,
My name is Kendra Kurisu and I am a Program Coordinator with Metis Nations BC's Ministry of Women and Gender Equity. We are currently working on a project that is a commemorative blanket for missing and murdered Metis relatives. I was directed to the "list serve" by a few of your colleagues in hopes that we might find some assistance.
The project entails community members creating quilt squares using either beadwork, fabric paint or fabric markers. These squares will then be stitched into a quilt, which will be unveiled as part of our memorial project.
I am looking for some guidance in two areas of the project.
One: Is there someone or an organization that can assist with archival photography of this project? We want each square to have a high-quality, high resolution digital photo taken of it. Also we would be looking to have the entirety of the completed quilt photographed.
Second: We are looking for a space or institution that could house the quilt, either on display or kept so that Metis Nation BC could have access to it, but so that it won't degrade over time.
I am not familiar with guidelines for storage of pieces and what goes into archival photography. Any guidance is appreciated and welcomed. I look forward to hearing from folks to discuss more of the project's nuances.
Maarsii,
Kendra Kurisu (Kendra Curry-Sue) (she/her)
