Hello everyone,
*We’re excited to share that BC Heritage Week
<https://heritagebc.ca/events-activities/heritage-week/> will take place
from February 16 to 22, 2026.* This year’s theme, *Stir the Pot*,
celebrates food as a form of heritage that connects us to land, culture,
our ancestors, memory, and community. Food reflects who we are and where we
come from. The theme also invites advocacy by bringing overlooked stories
to the forefront and sparking meaningful dialogue.
You and your organization are invited to participate in this province-wide
celebration. This year, the week aligns with both BC’s Family Day and
National Heritage Day, offering a unique opportunity to create programming
that highlights intergenerational storytelling, shared practices, and ways
that food can bind communities together.
