BC Sports Hall of Fame
Earlier this year, the BC Sports Hall of Fame launched the Digital Indigenous Sport Gallery, an online version of the Indigenous Sport Gallery in the Hall.  A multi-disciplinary team created an all-in-one online educational tool focused on Indigenous sports and athletes, teams, and organizations that have impacted BC sports heritage.

Gulf of Georgia Cannery
Heidi oversaw two summer collections interns this summer for an 8-week internship. The interns' main project was to conduct/ update the inventory of objects in the Gulf of Georgia Cannery’s main collection storage spaces. Once their main project was complete, the interns took advantage of finishing early and developed a plan to activate items in the collection.

Memory Map Project is an evolving online platform funded by a MAP grant. It highlights the under-told histories of Surrey through an interactive map, oral history recordings, and a crowdsourced section for visitors to share their own memories.

The Lower Mainland Curators Group
The Lower Mainland Curators Group (LMCG) was created in January 2019 for anyone with an interest in curatorial work, ideas, or themes in British Columbia.
The group is coordinated by a team of volunteer organizing members from museums around Metro Vancouver to discuss topics or themes related to curatorial work. It is for anyone with an interest in our sector including students, museum workers, and those in professions facing similar issues.
We present quarterly virtual and in-person sessions to discuss newly launched projects, share challenges and successes, and discuss lessons learned.
