The Oliver and District Heritage Society is excited to announce the completion of a new historical video about the irrigation canal (locally nicknamed "the Ditch") that tells the fascinating story of how irrigation was developed in the dry, desert community of Oliver. The video is an interactive and entertaining piece that signifies the importance of the canal to Oliver and the Okanagan Valley past, present and into the future.
