Hello everyone,
The Lower Mainland Curators Group is delighted to extend an invitation to the upcoming meetup on July 9, 2024, from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. This event will take place at the Irving House in New Westminster (302 Royal Ave, New Westminster, BC V3L 1H7).
Join us for a free informative session where we will walk through the historic home and hear about the Irving House’s 2023 Artist Residency pilot program!
RSVPs are required due to limited space. Please email lowermainlandcurators at gmail.com at your earliest convenience.
** Parking at the Irving House can be tricky, but there is residential parking in the area, a community bus stop, and the house is fairly close to Columbia SkyTrain station.

The Lower Mainland Curators Group

The Lower Mainland Curators Group (LMCG) was created in January 2019 for anyone with an interest in curatorial work, ideas, or themes in British Columbia.
The group is coordinated by a team of volunteer organizing members from museums around Metro Vancouver to discuss topics or themes related to curatorial work. It is for anyone with an interest in our sector including students, museum workers, and those in professions facing similar issues.
We present quarterly virtual and in-person sessions to discuss newly launched projects, share challenges and successes, and discuss lessons learned.
