2025 LMME Conference– Moving Together
Date: February 24, 2025 | Time: 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Where: UBC Museums and galleries
The Lower Mainland Museum Educators (LMME), with support from various UBC
organizations, including the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, are pleased to
present the 2025 LMME Conference: Moving Together on February 24, 2025.
Moving Together is a day of exploration, (re)connection, inclusivity, and
community. This one-day conference includes a keynote speaker,
knowledge-sharing tables led by moderators, and opportunities to reconnect
and network during an afternoon outing and an evening social.
A low-cost conference and gathering for staff, volunteers, and others
interested in informal education!
Theme objectives:
● Knowledge sharing
● Reconnecting (with one another) and connecting with communities
● Equal, Diverse, and Inclusive museums
● Intergenerational learning and mentorship
