The Kamloops Art Gallery is seeking a Bookkeeper. This is an ideal part-time position for an organized and detail-oriented person to contribute to our mission to lead community engagement with art and experiences that open doors.

The Bookkeeper is a key role at the Gallery, one where staff, our members, and donors expect a high level of commitment to the Gallery’s efforts and general professionalism. The Bookkeeper coordinates accounts payable and receivable; and provides administrative support to the Financial Controller and KAG team.
The successful candidate possesses experience as a Bookkeeper; outstanding organizational skills; strong communication and computer skills (specifically QuickBooks and Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook); a keen eye for detail; the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy office environment; a commitment to supporting colleagues; and an interest in the contemporary and historical visual arts.
