[BCMA] Registration reminder! "Managing Archival Photographs" distance education course (Sept - Nov 2024)

Registration is currently open for the next AABC distance education
course "Managing Archival Photographs".

Course duration: Sept 9 - Nov 18, 2024

Over 10 weeks students will learn about the history of photography and
different technical processes and how to appraise, accession, describe and
preserve this popular format that is found in every archive, library, and
museum collection. Students will also look at the specific guidelines when
it comes to reference, copyright, public outreach, and the best practices
for digitization.

Course fee: AABC members: $350.00 (CAD); non-members $500.00 (CAD) plus the
cost of the course textbook (available as an electronic version from the
SAA).

Registration deadline: Sept 5, 2024
