Speaker Series: Inclusion in our Workplaces
In the workplace, everyone wants to feel included, respected, and valued as an individual. Everyone has different cultural responses and expectations from those they may serve, work with, or teach. It may be easy for folx to feel lost in a large office, public facility, or workspace. Do we practice inclusivity in our workplace or in our lives? Let’s discuss what inclusion looks like today and actions we can take in our own lives to notice and value individuals in our lives and workplaces. This seminar will be a participatory experience with a short survey sent beforehand. We invite those who want to practice inclusivity and broaden their perspectives to join us for a lunch hour seminar.

About our Speaker: Lindagene Coyle
Vice President Emerita, retired from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.  Lindagene has been the Visible Minority Representative on the BC Labour Force Development Board, Chair of the Diversity Equity, and Inclusion Working Group for Rotary District 5050, and currently on the planning committee for the second DEI Summit.
