[BCMA] Dealing with Abandoned Items

Hi Everyone,

Currently I am reviewing and updating our museum's Collection Policy, and I am having trouble finding information about dealing with abandoned objects- specifically ones that are left temporarily for consideration and then not retrieved by the donor.

Does your museum have a clause such as "within X amount of days if the donor does not retrieve the object it will be disposed" or something similar? I am struggling to interpret BC Abandoned Property law in this regard.
