*A New CCI and CHIN Workshop on Digitization*

Thinking of implementing a digitization project at your institution? Are
you new to digitization and working with a limited budget? Then the
Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) and the Canadian Heritage Information
Network (CHIN) can help!

Register for our new advanced professional development (APD) workshop
“Digitization Training Program,” a pilot project offering weekly online
interactive and activity-based course sessions. The APD workshop will guide
you in the development of a digitization policy and plan for your own
institution over 11 two-hour sessions between September 24 and December 10,
2024.

📢 Attention all museum professionals working in collections documentation.
The stage is set for the annual 2024 International Council of Museums
Documentation Committee (CIDOC) conference taking place *November 11–15,
2024*.

Hosted at the esteemed Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, this event promises to be
a hub of inspiration and collaboration for museum professionals worldwide.

Under the theme “Sustainable Connections: Building Knowledge Networks,”
this conference emphasizes the importance of connectivity and collaboration
in advancing museum documentation and knowledge sharing. It’s an excellent
opportunity for individuals involved in collections management, museum IT,
research and more to contribute their expertise and insights.

You can participate by submitting a presentation proposal, lightning talk
proposal, video proposal or poster proposal. Explore the detailed
