[BCMA] Job Posting: YCW Programming Assistant @ Summerland Museum

Hello BC museum community,

The Summerland Museum and Archives is looking for a student to join us this
summer as a *Programming Assistant*! This position will provide hands-on
experience working in a small, community-focused museum.

The focus of the work term will be community engagement through outreach
activities, including Rotary Sunday Markets, Pop-Up Museums, and other
events. They will also learn about the behind-the-scenes operations of the
museum, such as working with the collections. These experiences will
benefit a student considering a career relating to museum work.

*Position Title:* Programming Assistant

*Work Term: *May 13, 2024 - August 25, 2024

*Hours of Work:* 37.50 hours/week (Wednesday through Sunday)

*Rate of Pay:* $18.00 per hour

*Application Closing Date: *5:00 PM PST, April 26, 2024
