[BCMA] Diwali Lights

Hello,

POMO Museum is turning on our winter lights on 12 November to coincide with Diwali, Hindu Festival of Lights. We are not hosting a festival, just turning our winter lights on.

However, this is done in partnership with Moody Elementary grades 4 and 5 who had lessons on Diwali and wrote contest entries. The entries will be featured in our online gallery space after the event. The winner of the contest will be the one turning our lights on and telling the audience what they learned.

Port Moody's mayor and the president of our Society will also be speaking.

When: 6:30pm 12 November
Where: POMO Museum (2734 Murray St. Port Moody V3H 1X2)
What: turning on lights followed by hot chocolate reception
Registration: free to attend, no registration required.
