Dear BCMA Colleagues,

The Sidney Museum is excited to announce the return of the annual LEGO
brick exhibit. Back for its 18th year, the exhibit will run for three
months from Tuesday January 2nd to Easter Monday, April 1st 2024.

Hundreds of LEGO brick sets will be on display including an impressive
array of new additions. One of the showstoppers of the exhibit will be the
new The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell™ set made of 6,167 pieces to mark the
70th anniversary of the publication of the first Lord of the Rings novel
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Other favourites on show include extensive Star Wars™ and Harry Potter™
displays as well as many construction models, cars, spacecrafts, and
architectural marvels such as the retired Taj Mahal set from 2008 which is
made of 5,922 pieces.

Interpretation around the museum will discuss the history of LEGO bricks
and fun facts about many of the sets. The return of popular activities such
as scavenger hunts, “guess the number of bricks”, and “find the hidden
minifigure” will be in place for visitors of all ages to enjoy as they look
around the exhibit.

Whether playing with LEGO bricks and building sets is a lifelong passion or
a newfound hobby, the exhibit has something interesting for everyone to
enjoy.

The Sidney Museum is located at 2423 Beacon Avenue, in the lower level of
the Old Post Office building. The Museum is open seven days a week from
10:00am-4:00pm. Entrance is by donation. Please see the Museum’s website
for more details on the current and upcoming exhibitions.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
-Charlotte
