British Child Migration to Canada 

The Shawnigan Lake Museum is hosting a talk on September 17th, by Patricia Skidmore, commemorating British Child Home Day (September 28th)


Patricia is the daughter of a British Home Child, and has written books on the subject. Her talk will feature the Prince of Wales Farm School and a Shawnigan Lake Family. Patricia’s books will be available for purchase at the event.

Join us on September 17th at Sylvan United Church from 1:30-2:30 for this amazing story, followed by a question period.
