** The Maritime Museum of BC Announces 1^st annual Crabtoberfest in Victoria, BC this November 5^th!

The Maritime Museum of BC’s 1^st annual Crabtoberfest hits our plates on November 5, 2022, at Pier A (The Breakwater District at Ogden Point) from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Presented by Finest at Sea (https://www.finestatsea.com/) and beer sponsor Phillips Brewing & Malting Co (https://www.phillipsbeer.com/) ., this is a community crab dinner like no other, held right here in Victoria, BC.
Claw-esome…Crabtoberfest hits our plates on November 5^th.

** About the Event
------------------------------------------------------------

Enjoy a crab or ½ crab dinner (or vegetarian chili), hit the dance floor with a live brass band, sing and stomp along to sea shanties, and enjoy contests, games and a 50/50 raffle.

Beerhall sponsored by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. opens at 5:30 PM with music, games, and prizes. Finest at Sea starts dishing out crabs at 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM, with more music, games, and prizes.

“The idea of a community dinner at Pier A, right in front of the Maritime Museum of BC’s beloved sailboats Trekka and Tilikum, just needed a theme and a name,” said Anya Baker, the Events and Development Coordinator at the Museum, “with crabs from Finest at Sea and beer from Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., it could only become a one-of-a-kind festival. We can’t wait to see everyone for our very first Victoria Crabtoberfest…in November!”

All proceeds support the Maritime Museum of BC, to continue operations and help with the running of school and public programs. A 50/50 raffle and the Phillips Beer Tower Live Auction will also be held in support of Museum operations.

Tickets are live on our website (http://www.mmbc.bc.ca/crabtoberfest) .
Crab dinner (with side salad and corn cob): $55 + tax
½ crab dinner (with side salad and corn cob): $30 + tax
Vegetarian chili (with side salad and corn cob): $25 + tax
Beer tickets will be available onsite, along with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Cash or card accepted.

This is an all ages event, but please bring two pieces of ID if you are legal drinking age and plan to consume alcohol.
