[BCMA] Accounting software

[Moderated BCMA subscriber listserv]

Our organization has been using Quickbooks for the last few years but our
accounting staff would like to have something that supports more
traditional accounting methods. Sage is the obvious choice but it is cloud
based and costs at least $40 per month forever. Xero appears to be about
the same. We would like to purchase the software once and retain control of
the data on our devices. What products are being used by our peers that we
should consider?
