The British Columbia Historical Federation is holding its annual conference virtually on June 2-5, 2022, co-hosted by the Victoria Historical Society.

The theme is “Memory”, which references the BC Historical Federation’s 100th year anniversary as well as ways that people remember and reflect on past events, commemorating and preserving memories, and telling stories.

The keynote speaker at this year’s gala is Dr. Keith Thor Carlson, Director of the Peace and Reconciliation Centre at the University of the Fraser Valley. Keith’s presentation is entitled: “History as a Tool for Reconciliation.”
