Join Museum of Surrey virtually for free lunch time learning sessions with
a range of speakers on the topics of Inclusion and Accessibility.

Registration is free but required. A link to the Microsoft Teams meeting
will be sent the morning of the presentation. Call 604-592-6956 to register

*Rolling in Life With a Physical Disability*This informative presentation
illustrates what it is like to be a young man with a physical disability.
Nathan Shipley covers everything from innovative adaptive equipment to the
struggles for individuals and families. Always willing to help and with a
passion for advocating for those with physical disabilities, Nathan shares
his lived experience with a goal to stimulate conversation and bring much
needed awareness to the challenges faced by many.

*Addressing Microaggressions*Join Kearie Daniel as she describes
microaggressions, their impacts and how to work through these uncomfortable
situations. Participants will learn what a microaggression is, their
affects on racialized individuals and how to address these comments.

*Being Brown: Experiences of Generations*Join a multi-generational panel
comprising of: Dr. Balbir Gurm, a KPU faculty member; Mani Deol-Fallon,
Director of Operations at Aero Inc., and Navroop Kaur Basra and Suhana
Grover, two high students. Each will share their personal lived experiences
as South Asian women in BC.
