Please excuse cross postings,

Colleagues,

We invite you to join us for our upcoming Roundtea, "Precarity and the
Profession" on February 15, 2022 (12:00-1:30pm PST).

Contract, term, grant funded, part-time. Every archivist is used to seeing
these words in job postings. Likewise, during a pandemic where we are doing
more with less, archival workers are starting to re-evaluate our profession
and our lives in a time of increasing professional precarity within the
heritage sector. Join us for another entry in our Roundtea series as we
welcome speakers Adena Brons and Ean Henninger from the Precarity in
Libraries project who will share their research and findings. Bring your
lunch, a cup of coffee or tea, and join us for another engaging
discussion! This
event will not be recorded.

Location: Online via Zoom

Registration: Free, however pre-registration is required.

Please visit the AABC website to register:
